We’re not sure that will work for every organization, however, knowing who your A, B, and C players are is pretty important. If you got all A and B players then maybe you don’t need to fire anyone. Studies have shown that A players need to be rewarded, 50% of B players can get coached up, however C players and lower rarely improve. Toxic or low performing teammates provide organizational drag and need to not be able to hide in the shadows.
