PowerBI BizRatings Integration

BizRatings - Power BI Integration

Prior to following the steps below contact your BizRatings Support Specialist/Team to secure access to the BizRatings – PowerBI integration, which includes a unique Client ID and Client Secret, along with the “Bizratings.mez” file required for configuration.

Step 1: Open Power BI -> Open Options and Settings in File Menuàselect Securityà Check “Allow any extension to load without warning”àclick OK.

Step 2: Power BI will have to be restarted to apply these changes, closer Power BI for now.

Step 3: Browse to your user profile documents folder > the Custom Connectors folder associated with Power BI C:\Users\[user]\Documents\Power BI Desktop\Custom Connectors)

Step 4: BizRatings support will provide you with a file “Bizratings.mez” for this step. Copy and paste “Bizratings.mez” into the location referenced in Step 3 above.

Step 5: Open Power BI

Step 6: Select Get dataàselect Moreàchoose Otheràselect Bizratings (Beta)àclick Connect

Step 7: In the resulting window, enter the date range for the data set that you are looking to view. Click OK.

Step 8: When you requested PowerBI API access from BizRatings Support, a Client ID and Client Secret were generated for you. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret credentials providedàclick Connect.

Step 9: Once Connected, you will be able to Load or Transform the data as desired.
