Blocking Contacts
Once a ticket has synced into the system, you can block that contact from receiving any future surveys.
How to Block a Contact
- Locate the contact in the list of available contacts.
- Search the contact's name or select manually off the contacts list
- Click Add → to move them into the Blocked Contacts list.
Once added, the contact will no longer receive any emails from Bizratings, including automated notifications.
Alternative: Avoid Survey Status
You may also prevent survey emails by not assigning the ticket to the BizRatings survey status, which stops the survey from sending altogether.
In addition to blocking individual contacts, you can block entire email domains. This is useful when you want to prevent surveys from being sent to anyone within a particular organization.
How to Add a Blocked Domain
- In the Blocked Domains section, find the Add Domain field.
- Type the domain you want to block (e.g., example.com).
- Enter the domain only — do not include “@”.
- Click Add.
The domain will appear in the Blocked list, as shown in the screenshot.
What Happens When a Domain Is Blocked
- All outgoing survey emails to any address ending in that domain will be blocked.
Example: Blocking example.com blocks:- info@example.com
- support@example.com
- Any other address under that domain
- Subdomains are included automatically.
Example:- Blocking example.com also blocks sub.example.com, mail.example.com,etc
Managing the Block List
Your blocked domains appear in a simple list with a Delete button next to each entry.
Click Delete to remove a domain from the blocked list and allow survey emails again.
