Connectwise Surveys - Engineer Leaderboard (Weighted / Unweighted Scores)
Step 1: Activate Your Engineers
Before the leaderboard can display results, you’ll need to enable the engineers you want to track.
- Go to User Management.
- Enable each engineer you want included in reporting.

Step 3: Customize Your Leaderboard View
You can tailor your leaderboard to get the most meaningful insights. Options include:
- Toggle Weighted vs. Unweighted scoring
- Switch between months
- Apply filters (e.g., minimum number of reviews)
Weighted vs. Unweighted Scores: What’s the Difference?
Unweighted
Originally, the leaderboard displayed a simple monthly average of CSAT scores plus the number of responses. The downside?
Engineers with only 1–3 perfect‑score reviews would often appear at the top—even if they worked far fewer hours.
Weighted (Default)
To better represent monthly performance, we introduced weighted scoring, which factors in both:
- Average CSAT score, and
- Monthly billable hours
This approach highlights engineers who not only maintain strong customer satisfaction but also contribute significant work volume.
Because weighted scoring provides a more accurate reflection of overall effort and impact, it’s the default leaderboard setting.
