If you are a best-in-class MSP don’t keep it a secret.

I get it, you’re not best-in-class at marketing, but you don’t need to be. You have worked hard to build a world class service offering, and we just need the world to know what your clients already know about you – how good you are.

It’s not easy to maintain a reputation like yours. Every interaction - personally, professionally can potentially enhance your reputation or detract from it. You obsess over your reputation, you sweat it and protect it; it’s time for you to leverage your hard work.

Before the Internet age, crappy service providers were able to ply their crappy products in the shadows and consumers were none the wiser. These days, being a crappy service provider isn’t as easy anymore. Good news travels fast, however bad news travel faster. Con artists can’t con savvy consumers anymore, there is just too much information on the reputation of products and service providers at their fingertips.

Your goal has to be to spread the good news of your great reputation as far and as wide as you can. Consumers are getting savvier now and will only buy stuff after researching what other’s think about them. For B2B transactions it’s getting even more difficult to just use traditional advertising. The costs of making a bad decision for businesses are even higher. If they pick a crappy service provider it could mean lost revenue, lost reputation, lost jobs. Not only are businesses looking to research who they buy from; they are more likely to trust data from their business networks rather than the general public. You need to leverage this and make sure your reputation is amplified and visible to them when they are looking to make a buying decision. Reputation marketing makes that happen. Amplify your reputation so buyers see it when and where they are looking for it.
